It has just been a month since our wedding (19th August), we have pleasant memories and will continue to mention. Everyone was delighted with the level of music performance – with class and taste. Guests said they felt like they were at a concert, and the atmosphere was cinematic. Everything sounded great, Valentina’s voice should be appreciated, it is clear, warm and beautiful. Of course, let’s not forget the great playing of the pianist, double bass player and drummer. Really!
Despite the weather surprises during the reception, the band agreed to stay longer for which we are grateful. By the way, we had a full blue moon during the reception which came out by complete coincidence after we had already booked the band. Which made the atmosphere even more wonderful.
What else is worth to be mentioned? The contact with Raphael was flawless. I wish everyone would exchange messages so efficiently and concretely. If we had to choose this band again, we would choose the same way. As a professional classical musician, I can heartily recommend this band.

We booked Blue Moon Jazz Band for our wedding in Tuscany on the 28th August and they were a wonderful addition to it. Raphael was great to communicate with prior to the event and was happy to tailor their services to what we wanted.

I was very particular about the song and exact arrangement that I wanted to walk down the aisle to, and the pianist Raphael learned it and played it so beautifully. He also did a great job playing a very technically difficult song for our recessional.
The jazz standards the group played during aperitivo set the tone for the night – allowing us to connect over the music or dance and sway along if we chose to! The group plays with a lot of heart and emotion!

I can’t recommend this band enough! Every single request they managed to fulfil – at our wedding we wanted to have a welcome party with a saxophone & DJ – the show was incredible, everyone loved it and the ambience was perfect. For the wedding day the band played during the aperitif where the vibe was absolutely perfect and then after dinner and the cake cutting they amped it up to more dancing tunes which was the best warm up to the DJ set they recommended, again with the saxophone. They really made our wedding with their wonderful music. We couldn’t be more happy. Our guests could not stop talking about the music and the atmosphere their music created.
The band played a collection of jazz music during our aperitivo and it was our favourite part of the day. We could have listened to them for hours more!
Raphael also played the piano as our guests arrived and played the two songs we requested for our ceremony entrance and exit. At no point did any request seem like too much of an ask! Raphael was very communicative and we trusted him throughout the whole process (we are from the UK and so liaised over email until the wedding day).

As musicians ourselves, we thought finding the perfect music to accompany our wedding in Tuscany would be difficult. However Blue Moon Jazz quickly set us at ease. After being impressed with their sound on video, we managed to organise seeing the band instrumentally at a nearby venue they were playing whilst visiting our venue. They were so friendly and happy to let us come along for a live listen. They sounded even better in real life!
Pianist and band leader Raphael was informative and communicative throughout our planning process.
Their musicianship and talent is top notch and they sounded amazing during our ceremony, aperitif and party. The guests all commented on how great they sounded and how much they enjoyed dancing and singing along. The vocals and each instrument were played to perfection. I cannot recommend them enough.

Wie haben jeweils mit Rahael Kontakt gehabt und vier Musiker für unsere Hochzeit in Norditalien gebucht. Der Kontakt, die Vertragsschliessung und dann der Auftritt in Italien (Ortasee) verlief einwandfrei. Alles Gäste wie auch wir haben es unglaublich genossen. Die Band hat 4 h gespielt mit jeweils 15 minütigen Unterbrüchen. Alles mit den Pausen für die Reden und Spiele hat hervorragend funktioniert. Auch hat die Band das Mikrofon und Lautsprecher für die Zeremonie vorbereitet und auch Lieder auf dem Iphone abgespielt (unser Redner wollte das so). We each contacted Rahael and booked four musicians for our wedding in July 2023. The contact, the contracting and then the performance in Italy (Lake Orta) went flawlessly. All guests as well as we enjoyed it incredibly. The band played for 4 hours with 15 minute interruptions. Everything with the breaks for the speeches and games worked excellently. Also, the band prepared the microphone and speakers for the ceremony and also played songs on the Iphone (our speaker wanted it that way). Could not recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Trio enough, they were absolutely fantastic from the moment I sent my initial enquiry email. Raphael was so responsive and helpful with whatever question I asked, and he also helped me out a great deal with some of the legal admin I needed to do, which was so so appreciated. He really went above and beyond.
As for the performance, well it was just incredible. They are all such talented players and had such a wide range of music they could play. It really made a difference as well to see the smiles on all their faces during their performance, they seemed to genuinely enjoy playing for us. We only had a wedding of 20 people, and this size of band really worked so well. Also really appreciated the band staying on an extra 1.5 hours despite them having long ways to travel afterwards. The Blue Moon Jazz Quartet was absolutely wonderful during our destination wedding in Amalfi. From the ceremony processional to the cocktail hour to the reception, we received countless comments from our guests on how great the band was! On the day they sorted everything -playing our music for the ceremony exactly as asked, the band were brilliant – so many guests commented on the style and quality of their playing and the singer had a beautiful voice, they also then provided the disco for later – all the music was seemlessly handled and exactly as we wanted. My only regret was that I didnt spend enough time dancing to them as I was off doing photos etc!

We were delighted with Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz trio who provided a wonderful soundtrack for our wedding reception at the Hotel Kolbe in Rome less than two weeks ago. The band played during the aperitivo and then again after dinner when they were joined by their fantastic singer. We loved their sound and wished they could have played longer. As one of my dearest friends said, whose brother is a jazz musician, when the band was playing it was more like being at a concert than “only” listening to background music. Raphael was always very prompt in all his replies and as kind and considerate as possible, while the musicians as a whole, including the singer, impressed us all with the quality of their sound. We had them play at our wedding all day on 02/06/2022 and they blew us and our guests away, for both jazz and pop repertoires. In the run up they made everything so easy, really responsive and so easy to work with, Raphael learnt a song for us without question or hesitation and played some beautiful music at our ceremony, we really could not have asked for more from the band as a whole.
We made the excellent decision to include the singer who has an amazing voice and sang perfectly in English and Italian. The rest of the band were just as good, not a note out of place and played some amazing jazz standards, as well as a pop set that had everybody up and dancing straight away and kept them there for the rest of the night.

We were so thrilled to have a live band for our wedding at Il Borro. We saw the great reviews for Blue Moon but we and our guests were completely blown away by their repertoire and talent! My husband and I recently got married in Ostuni at Masseria Il Frantoio. When we began looking for music for the reception, jazz was on the top of our list. Blue Moon Jazz Trio came highly recommended by our wedding planner and after hearing from her that they were able to keep a small intimate wedding dancing all night, I was sold. I love to dance and I was worried by having a smaller wedding we would miss out on that. Not the case at all! They learned the few pieces we wanted played for our ceremony and we gave them some suggestions for the reception, but left the rest up to them. They did not disappoint! We danced all night- even when it started to rain, they moved under an overhang so that they could continue the party! I highly recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Trio for your wedding or event, I can’t say enough great things about them!!

They joined us at a private villa in Tuscany, just south of Florence. We couldn’t have been happier with this incredible band! They are exceptionally talented musicians with a vast repertoire, performing songs in both English and Italian. Their music truly elevated the atmosphere of our wedding, creating unforgettable moments with our family and friends. We are incredibly grateful the Blue Moon Italian Jazz Band was willing to travel to Loro Ciuffenna to play at our wedding. It has just been a month since our wedding (19th August), we have pleasant memories and will continue to mention. Everyone was delighted with the level of music performance – with class and taste. Guests said they felt like they were at a concert, and the atmosphere was cinematic. Everything sounded great, Valentina’s voice should be appreciated, it is clear, warm and beautiful. Of course, let’s not forget the great playing of the pianist, double bass player and drummer. Really!
Despite the weather surprises during the reception, the band agreed to stay longer for which we are grateful. By the way, we had a full blue moon during the reception which came out by complete coincidence after we had already booked the band. Which made the atmosphere even more wonderful.
What else is worth to be mentioned? The contact with Raphael was flawless. I wish everyone would exchange messages so efficiently and concretely. If we had to choose this band again, we would choose the same way. As a professional classical musician, I can heartily recommend this band.

Blue Moon Jazz Band helped to create a magical environment for our wedding ceremony and aperitivo.
I was very particular about the song and exact arrangement that I wanted to walk down the aisle to, and the pianist Raphael learned it and played it so beautifully. He also did a great job playing a very technically difficult song for our recessional.
The jazz standards the group played during aperitivo set the tone for the night – allowing us to connect over the music or dance and sway along if we chose to! The group plays with a lot of heart and emotion!

I can’t recommend this band enough! Every single request they managed to fulfil – at our wedding we wanted to have a welcome party with a saxophone & DJ – the show was incredible, everyone loved it and the ambience was perfect. For the wedding day the band played during the aperitif where the vibe was absolutely perfect and then after dinner and the cake cutting they amped it up to more dancing tunes which was the best warm up to the DJ set they recommended, again with the saxophone. I loved it so much, the guests did, the communication was so easy, they were so responsive and met every requests, 100/100!

As musicians ourselves, we thought finding the perfect music to accompany our wedding in Tuscany would be difficult. However Blue Moon Jazz quickly set us at ease. After being impressed with their sound on video, we managed to organise seeing the band instrumentally at a nearby venue they were playing whilst visiting our venue. They were so friendly and happy to let us come along for a live listen. They sounded even better in real life!

Die Band hat 4 h gespielt mit jeweils 15 minütigen Unterbrüchen. Alles mit den Pausen für die Reden und Spiele hat hervorragend funktioniert. Auch hat die Band das Mikrofon und Lautsprecher für die Zeremonie vorbereitet und auch Lieder auf dem Iphone abgespielt (unser Redner wollte das so). We each contacted Rahael and booked four musicians for our wedding in July 2023. The contact, the contracting and then the performance in Italy (Lake Orta) went flawlessly. All guests as well as we enjoyed it incredibly. The band played for 4 hours with 15 minute interruptions. Everything with the breaks for the speeches and games worked excellently. Also, the band prepared the microphone and speakers for the ceremony and also played songs on the Iphone (our speaker wanted it that way). Could not recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Trio enough, they were absolutely fantastic from the moment I sent my initial enquiry email. Raphael was so responsive and helpful with whatever question I asked, and he also helped me out a great deal with some of the legal admin I needed to do, which was so so appreciated. He really went above and beyond.
As for the performance, well it was just incredible. They are all such talented players and had such a wide range of music they could play. It really made a difference as well to see the smiles on all their faces during their performance, they seemed to genuinely enjoy playing for us. We only had a wedding of 20 people, and this size of band really worked so well. Also really appreciated the band staying on an extra 1.5 hours despite them having long ways to travel afterwards. The best band in all of Italy!!
The Blue Moon Jazz Quartet was absolutely wonderful during our destination wedding in Amalfi. From the ceremony processional to the cocktail hour to the reception, we received countless comments from our guests on how great the band was! Raphael and the band made the booking process seamless from start to finish. We were blown away that they were willing to learn (and execute flawlessly) 3 songs for our first dance, father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance. It made our wedding day extra special and I cannot wait for our video to return to be able to relive those moments, thanks to the Blue Moon Jazz Quartet. I cannot say enough good things about Blue Moon Trio/ quartet. Our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing and memorable without the music stylings of this amazing group. We planned our Venetian wedding from the US and Raphael was so easy and lovely to work with. Everything was handled from the set list to a playlist for dinner and breaks. They knew just what songs to play and when. All the guests commented how perfect the band was. I cannot thank them or recommend them enough to every couple looking for a band for their wedding.

I highly recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Band. We booked them during the pandemic and had to move our date – Raphael was so accommodating and understanding which made it very easy. On the day the band played at our ceremony, apperitivo and dinner. Raphael had reached out to me to ask about our preferred songs and they were all played perfectly on the day. He even was able to make some fantastic suggestions when we weren’t sure what to go for. Blue Moon Jazz Trio performed at my wedding at Villa Miani in Rome for the ceremony and for cocktail hour. They were professional and did an incredible job. I had guests complimenting them all day as they liked them so much. They had a comprehensive list of songs that they sent me that they could play during the ceremony, but they also stated that they could learn anything if I wanted something different. I can’t thank them enough, they were absolutely perfect during my wedding and cocktail hour.
I am delighted to recommend the Blue Moon Jazz trio – I booked my wedding from the UK and I don’t speak Italian – but Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz trio couldnt have been more helpful. We had to change arrangements due to the pandemic and again they were brilliant.
On the day they sorted everything -playing our music for the ceremony exactly as asked, the band were brilliant – so many guests commented on the style and quality of their playing and the singer had a beautiful voice, they also then provided the disco for later – all the music was seemlessly handled and exactly as we wanted. My only regret was that I didnt spend enough time dancing to them as I was off doing photos etc!

We were delighted with Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz trio who provided a wonderful soundtrack for our wedding reception at the Hotel Kolbe in Rome less than two weeks ago. The band played during the aperitivo and then again after dinner when they were joined by their fantastic singer. We loved their sound and wished they could have played longer. As one of my dearest friends said, whose brother is a jazz musician, when the band was playing it was more like being at a concert than “only” listening to background music. Raphael was always very prompt in all his replies and as kind and considerate as possible, while the musicians as a whole, including the singer, impressed us all with the quality of their sound. All our guests remarked on how wonderful the band was, including our younger guests who greatly enjoyed dancing away at jazz pieces they would not normally listen to, as well as the jazz buffs amongst us of which there were many. We had them play at our wedding all day on 02/06/2022 and they blew us and our guests away, for both jazz and pop repertoires. In the run up they made everything so easy, really responsive and so easy to work with, Raphael learnt a song for us without question or hesitation and played some beautiful music at our ceremony, we really could not have asked for more from the band as a whole.
We made the excellent decision to include the singer who has an amazing voice and sang perfectly in English and Italian. The rest of the band were just as good, not a note out of place and played some amazing jazz standards, as well as a pop set that had everybody up and dancing straight away and kept them there for the rest of the night.
Thank you so much to all of Blue Moon, I’ve said it a thousand times already and it’s still not enough. They made the whole day so special for all of us and anybody who’s thinking about booking them should just get them booked immediately ❤️

I always wanted a jazz band for my wedding and I truly thought it would be more like background music that not many people would pay attention too – however, Blue Moon were prominent in the best possible way. It was charming, romantic, fun and set the scene better than I could have ever imagined. I will never forget the sun setting to my right through the tuscan trees and then seeing the band to my left playing so elegantly in the sunset. It really was a dream come true.

We were so thrilled to have a live band for our wedding at Il Borro. We saw the great reviews for Blue Moon but we and our guests were completely blown away by their repertoire and talent! They even learned our first dance songs, which were admittedly a little obscure. They are such kind people and were flexible with changing the location of their set up from outside on the terrace to inside in the library due to weather. You will love having this band at your wedding and you will always remember their energy, talent and kindness!
My husband and I recently got married in Ostuni at Masseria Il Frantoio. When we began looking for music for the reception, jazz was on the top of our list. Blue Moon Jazz Trio came highly recommended by our wedding planner and after hearing from her that they were able to keep a small intimate wedding dancing all night, I was sold. I love to dance and I was worried by having a smaller wedding we would miss out on that. Not the case at all! They learned the few pieces we wanted played for our ceremony and we gave them some suggestions for the reception, but left the rest up to them. They did not disappoint! We danced all night- even when it started to rain, they moved under an overhang so that they could continue the party! I highly recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Trio for your wedding or event, I can’t say enough great things about them!!
The Blue Moon Jazz Trio was incredible. We reached out to them one year in advance and they were completely professional and reliable and fun the entire way through. They joined us at a private villa in Tuscany, just south of Florence. We were initially nervous booking a band overseas without meeting them first but they made us feel comfortable right away via email. They made our wedding vibe very elegant and fun and they even played music that my dad requested so he could sing while we danced for the first time as husband and wife. I found the Trio from mainly reading reviews on numerous sites. We had our wedding at the Belmond Hotel Caruso in Ravello and requested Raphael and his team play during our cocktail hour and meal. The music sounded beautiful! They played a great mix of old and new which went down brilliantly with the guests, a large number of which were singing along! Raphael was so patient with us trying to select our songs and super accommodating. It took a while for us to decide and they very understanding. They were on-time and reliable. The responsiveness during the planning could not be faulted and their flexibility in being able to learn our specified songs for during the ceremony was great. They also played some more contemporary songs in a jazz style during the ceremony. Blue Moon Jazz Trio played our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner at our recent wedding celebration in Tuscany. They were AMAZING! All of our guests raved about how well they played and how nice and professional they were the entire time. They even learned (and played perfectly) a few specific songs for us that we requested to walk down the aisle to and have our first dance to. Raphael and the two Paolos were fabulous at my destination birthday party in Venice. They played anything and everything our 30 guests wanted to dance to from dixieland jazz to Abba to the most current dance crazes. Their music absolutely made the party!! They even played through some breaks to keep the party going. They’re very nice guys and it was a pleasure dealing with them – and their rates were quite reasonable.

My husband & I recently married in Rome …. We had the most beautiful ceremony in the Campidoglio & then on to an amazing wedding reception in the Kolbe Hotel !!!! But what made our reception was the music !!! The atmosphere these guys created was outstanding … they played straight from their hearts & our family & friends adored them as we did !!! They gave us refined with fun , laughter & love …. take a bow guys , you made our wedding sparkle !!!! We never wanted them to stop playing !!! Not alone amazingly talented but the nicest , kindest guys one could ever meet !!!
