Since we are Dutch, we weren’t used to Italian weddings…
The Muffin band is phenomenal. Since we are Dutch, we weren’t used to Italian weddings. We did not know that there is usually music and dancing between the courses of the diner. Although every guest was Dutch and did not know this as well, the Muffin band played everyone from their seats up to the dancefloor! We had the best evening of our lives. Everyone congratulated us with how good the evening was. This is all because the music from the band.
If you want to have a good time, book the Muffin band! They played very good and professional. Beforehand, they were open for all our inputs and the communication went very well.
Her music made our reception unforgettable
We were so impressed with Fabiana’s talent and professionalism. She played a mix of classical and modern pieces beautifully, and her music made our reception unforgettable. She is not only an incredible violinist but also a joy to work with.

Absolutely incredible performance from the guys.
Absolutely incredible performance from the guys. Everybody at the wedding loved the singing and music plus such a friendly group of people. Would hire them for any event in a heartbeat so thank you to all of you. Sweet dreams guaranteed after any performance involving them. Thank you again!
Best decision ever
We booked Vieri kind of last minute and honestly… best decision ever. His setlist was super diverse (from jazz classics to a spontaneous Irish folk song my dad requested!), and he kept the mood flowing perfectly all night. He even played our first dance song live, and I legit got chills. Also – major bonus – his setup didn’t require power, which saved us during the outdoor aperitivo! Guests were raving.

Organizing your dream wedding in Italy involves many details, and music is one of the most memorable. Below, you’ll find answers to the most frequently asked questions about hiring live wedding music in Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy, helping you make confident decisions throughout your planning journey.
1. What kinds of live music acts can I hire for a wedding in Trentino-South Tyrol?
On WeddingMusicBandItaly.com, you’ll discover a diverse selection of live music acts perfect for every moment of your special day. These include:
- Classical musicians, such as string quartets and violinists, ideal for the ceremony
- Jazz ensembles, swing bands, and lounge duos for cocktails or dinner
- Cover bands and showbands to energize your reception
- Intimate acoustic acts or strolling musicians for a unique touch
- Vintage-inspired bands for themed or retro-style weddings
- Versatile DJ + live musician combinations for seamless entertainment
Whether your style leans elegant, romantic, or lively, you’ll find a band that fits your vibe.
2. When should I book a wedding musician or band in Italy?
Booking in advance is key to securing your top choices. We suggest contacting musicians at least 6 to 12 months ahead, especially if your wedding falls during the busy season (May to September). Top performers tend to get booked well in advance for popular weekends. However, if you’re planning on short notice, don’t worry — some acts may still be available!
3. Can I book music for multiple parts of the day?
Definitely. Most artists in Trentino-South Tyrol offer tailored packages to accompany your day from start to finish. These typically include:
- Ceremony music – for walking down the aisle, signing, and exit
- Cocktail hour – light and elegant background music
- Wedding dinner – subtle acoustic or instrumental sets
- Reception – high-energy music to fill the dance floor
Performers often create different setlists for each part of the event, ensuring the music matches the mood.
4. Do bands provide their own sound systems and instruments?
Yes. Nearly all our musicians arrive fully equipped with:
- Their own instruments
- Microphones and stands
- A PA system and audio mixer
For large or outdoor venues, additional gear might be required — like extra speakers or lighting. Some bands offer upgrade packages or can liaise with a local technician to ensure top-quality sound.
5. Can I request special songs, like our first dance?
Of course! Most musicians are happy to accommodate requests — including your first dance, a favorite ceremony song, or cultural pieces meaningful to your heritage. It’s best to share these details early so the band can rehearse if needed and deliver a flawless performance.
6. Can the band also offer a DJ service?
Yes, many wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol offer an optional wedding DJ service as part of their entertainment package. This may include:
- DJ sets with personalized playlists
- Live instruments mixed with DJ beats
- Lighting and effects for a real party atmosphere
It’s a great way to blend live energy with dance music for a seamless evening celebration.
7. Will I have to cover travel or lodging costs for the musicians?
Sometimes. If your venue is far from where the artist is based, travel fees may apply. These can include:
- Transport costs (car, van, or flight)
- Hotel stays if an overnight is required
- Meals for long-duration events
These expenses will always be included in your quote. Discuss logistics early for smooth planning.
8. Can I preview a band before I book?
Yes! Artist pages on WeddingMusicBandItaly.com feature videos, photos, and client reviews. In some cases, especially if you’re visiting Italy before the big day, you might be able to attend a public performance or rehearsal. Simply reach out through the artist’s profile to ask.
9. What if the artist becomes unavailable at the last minute?
While rare, illness or emergencies can happen. That’s why most bands have a backup plan — including alternate musicians or colleagues who can step in. Professionalism is key, and our artists are committed to making sure your wedding goes off without a hitch.
10. How does booking through WeddingMusicBandItaly.com work?
It’s easy and transparent:
- Explore profiles and watch videos to discover your favorite artists
- Use the “Get a Free Quote” button to contact them directly
- Discuss availability, prices, and event details
- Confirm your booking with a contract and arrange payment
All bookings and payments are made directly with the artist or their agency. We’re not a booking agency — just a platform to connect you with the best live wedding talent in Italy, commission-free.
11. Do I need to pay a SIAE fee when hiring live music for my wedding?
Yes, in most cases. SIAE (Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori) manages music copyright fees in Italy. If your wedding includes music — live or recorded — a SIAE license is required.
The fee amount depends on your venue, number of guests, and event type (e.g., dancing or no dancing). It’s usually the couple’s responsibility to secure the license in advance.
