We booked them for our wedding in Tuscany and couldn’t be more happy…
We absolutely loved Lula Soul & The Swinger’s Tune and so did our guests! We booked them for our wedding in Tuscany and couldn’t be more happy with their performance. In the beginning they played music for our pool party and later for our dance party, with the perfect choice of songs. Everyone was dancing and we got great feedback from our guests!! Their communication was flawless, they are very kind and professional – we also were able to request songs! We definitely recommend booking them for your wedding or other events, you won’t be disappointed!

Enrico was professional and prompt with communication.
We hired Consonus Quartet to play at our 25th Anniversary Vow Renewal on the Amalfi Coast. Enrico was professional and prompt with communication. We loved that they were able to play classics for the ceremony and then switch to a more modern palate for dinner and dancing. We would highly recommend them to anyone celebrating any special occasion!

Wow doesn’t even begin to cover it…
We got married in Borgo di Tragliata in October of this year and we had The Gloves as our wedding band. Wow doesn’t even begin to cover it, weeks later and people are still raving about the amazing band we had! Not only were they great musicians but they were such nice people and really great craic, I was so nervous to do a first dance and almost wasn’t going to when Leo suggested one and made me feel so at ease with it and so many said it was the best first dance they’d seen!
The dancefloor was CONSTANTLY full with hit after hit, the energy was electric and the crowd interaction was second to none!
Can’t recommend more!

You’ll find a rich selection of talented musicians to suit any part of your wedding day. Popular options include:
- Elegant classical groups like string quartets or violinists
- Jazz trios, swing bands, and lounge-style performers for drinks and dinner
- Cover bands or high-energy showbands for your dance party

Whether it’s a classy string trio or a band that gets the crowd dancing, you’ll find it here.
2. When should I book my wedding musicians in Italy?
To secure your preferred act, we suggest booking at least 6–12 months ahead, particularly for dates between May and September. Top-rated bands get snapped up quickly, especially for weekends. Still, if your wedding is coming up soon, don’t hesitate to send inquiries — some acts accept last-minute bookings when available.
3. Can one band play at all parts of the wedding day?
Yes — most bands in Mezzocorona offer packages covering the entire event. You can usually have music during:
- The ceremony – from entrance to signing to exit
- The cocktail hour – perfect for mellow background tunes
- Dinner time – light live sets or instrumentals
- The party – with upbeat sets to get everyone on the floor
Many musicians can adjust their setup and energy level to fit each part of the day.
4. Do artists bring their own sound system and gear?
Yes. Most artists come fully equipped with what’s needed for a smooth performance, including:
- Instruments
- Microphones
- PA and basic mixing gear
For outdoor or large venues, it’s important to clarify audio needs early. Some artists also offer upgrades like wireless mics or mood lighting — just ask during your quote request.
5. Can we request custom songs like our first dance?
Yes, definitely. Whether it’s a first dance, entrance song, or a tune from your heritage, most musicians are happy to accommodate. Sharing requests early helps them prepare or rehearse if needed. Many already have popular songs in their setlist — others will gladly learn something new just for you.
6. Can live bands include a DJ set?
Absolutely! Many wedding bands for hire in Mezzocorona also offer a wedding DJ as part of their services. This might include:
- A DJ set between live performances
- Live musicians accompanying the DJ
- Dancefloor lighting and ambiance
A hybrid DJ/live performance combo helps keep the energy high and your guests entertained all night.
7. Are travel or lodging fees charged by musicians?
Sometimes. If the venue is far from the artist’s base, there might be extra costs for:
- Travel (car, van, train, or flights)
- Hotel if the event runs late or spans multiple days
- Meals if there’s long wait time between sets
Our artists are upfront about fees, so you’ll know the full cost before booking. No surprises, just clarity.
8. Can we preview the band before booking?
Yes. On WeddingMusicBandItaly.com, every listing includes videos, reviews, and photos to help you choose with confidence. While most couples book based on this media, you can always message the artist to ask if any public performances or rehearsals are scheduled.
9. What if a band member becomes unavailable last minute?
It’s rare, but if something unexpected happens, our professionals are prepared. Many bands have reliable substitutes ready to step in. Your celebration is too important to leave to chance — and our musicians take that responsibility seriously.
10. How does booking work on WeddingMusicBandItaly.com?
Booking is quick and direct:
- Browse artist profiles and save your favorites

11. What is SIAE, and do I need to pay it for my wedding in Italy?
SIAE (Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori) is Italy’s music copyright body. If music is played at your event in Mezzocorona, a SIAE license is usually required to ensure composers are compensated fairly.
Fees vary by venue size, guest count, and whether there’s dancing. Couples or their planners are responsible for this license.
