On the day of our wedding, Blue Moon set-up, coordinated with the venue, and played the most beautiful set. We asked them to accompany our reception, which they did beautifully. I corresponded remotely in the USA to setup everything with Rapheal who is both very professional and very responsive to all of my emails. They were outstanding. Wie haben jeweils mit Rahael Kontakt gehabt und vier Musiker für unsere Hochzeit in Norditalien gebucht. Der Kontakt, die Vertragsschliessung und dann der Auftritt in Italien (Ortasee) verlief einwandfrei. Alles Gäste wie auch wir haben es unglaublich genossen. Die Band hat 4 h gespielt mit jeweils 15 minütigen Unterbrüchen. Alles mit den Pausen für die Reden und Spiele hat hervorragend funktioniert. Auch hat die Band das Mikrofon und Lautsprecher für die Zeremonie vorbereitet und auch Lieder auf dem Iphone abgespielt (unser Redner wollte das so). We each contacted Rahael and booked four musicians for our wedding in July 2023. The contact, the contracting and then the performance in Italy (Lake Orta) went flawlessly. All guests as well as we enjoyed it incredibly. The band played for 4 hours with 15 minute interruptions. Everything with the breaks for the speeches and games worked excellently. Also, the band prepared the microphone and speakers for the ceremony and also played songs on the Iphone (our speaker wanted it that way). Could not recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Trio enough, they were absolutely fantastic from the moment I sent my initial enquiry email. Raphael was so responsive and helpful with whatever question I asked, and he also helped me out a great deal with some of the legal admin I needed to do, which was so so appreciated. He really went above and beyond.
As for the performance, well it was just incredible. They are all such talented players and had such a wide range of music they could play. It really made a difference as well to see the smiles on all their faces during their performance, they seemed to genuinely enjoy playing for us. We only had a wedding of 20 people, and this size of band really worked so well. Also really appreciated the band staying on an extra 1.5 hours despite them having long ways to travel afterwards. The best band in all of Italy!!

The Blue Moon Jazz Quartet was absolutely wonderful during our destination wedding in Amalfi. From the ceremony processional to the cocktail hour to the reception, we received countless comments from our guests on how great the band was! I am delighted to recommend the Blue Moon Jazz trio – I booked my wedding from the UK and I don’t speak Italian – but Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz trio couldnt have been more helpful. We had to change arrangements due to the pandemic and again they were brilliant.
On the day they sorted everything -playing our music for the ceremony exactly as asked, the band were brilliant – so many guests commented on the style and quality of their playing and the singer had a beautiful voice, they also then provided the disco for later – all the music was seemlessly handled and exactly as we wanted. My only regret was that I didnt spend enough time dancing to them as I was off doing photos etc!

We were delighted with Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz trio who provided a wonderful soundtrack for our wedding reception at the Hotel Kolbe in Rome less than two weeks ago. The band played during the aperitivo and then again after dinner when they were joined by their fantastic singer. We loved their sound and wished they could have played longer. As one of my dearest friends said, whose brother is a jazz musician, when the band was playing it was more like being at a concert than “only” listening to background music. Raphael was always very prompt in all his replies and as kind and considerate as possible, while the musicians as a whole, including the singer, impressed us all with the quality of their sound. All our guests remarked on how wonderful the band was, including our younger guests who greatly enjoyed dancing away at jazz pieces they would not normally listen to, as well as the jazz buffs amongst us of which there were many. We had them play at our wedding all day on 02/06/2022 and they blew us and our guests away, for both jazz and pop repertoires. In the run up they made everything so easy, really responsive and so easy to work with, Raphael learnt a song for us without question or hesitation and played some beautiful music at our ceremony, we really could not have asked for more from the band as a whole.
We made the excellent decision to include the singer who has an amazing voice and sang perfectly in English and Italian. The rest of the band were just as good, not a note out of place and played some amazing jazz standards, as well as a pop set that had everybody up and dancing straight away and kept them there for the rest of the night.
Thank you so much to all of Blue Moon, I’ve said it a thousand times already and it’s still not enough. They made the whole day so special for all of us and anybody who’s thinking about booking them should just get them booked immediately ❤️

My husband and I recently got married in Ostuni at Masseria Il Frantoio. When we began looking for music for the reception, jazz was on the top of our list. Blue Moon Jazz Trio came highly recommended by our wedding planner and after hearing from her that they were able to keep a small intimate wedding dancing all night, I was sold. I love to dance and I was worried by having a smaller wedding we would miss out on that. Not the case at all! They learned the few pieces we wanted played for our ceremony and we gave them some suggestions for the reception, but left the rest up to them. They did not disappoint! We danced all night- even when it started to rain, they moved under an overhang so that they could continue the party! We had the Blue Moon Jazz play for our wedding welcome party on August 17, 2023 in Sorrento Italy. I corresponded remotely in the USA to setup everything with Rapheal who is both very professional and very responsive to all of my emails. They were outstanding. Valentina, their singer is incredible. They played the song styles we had requested in both English and Itailian. They were very entertaining and so good that they got everyone dancing to their music. If you are looking for an excellent jazz band with an outstanding singer you will not be disappointed. Wie haben jeweils mit Rahael Kontakt gehabt und vier Musiker für unsere Hochzeit in Norditalien gebucht. Der Kontakt, die Vertragsschliessung und dann der Auftritt in Italien (Ortasee) verlief einwandfrei. Alles Gäste wie auch wir haben es unglaublich genossen. Die Band hat 4 h gespielt mit jeweils 15 minütigen Unterbrüchen. Alles mit den Pausen für die Reden und Spiele hat hervorragend funktioniert. Auch hat die Band das Mikrofon und Lautsprecher für die Zeremonie vorbereitet und auch Lieder auf dem Iphone abgespielt (unser Redner wollte das so). We each contacted Rahael and booked four musicians for our wedding in July 2023. The contact, the contracting and then the performance in Italy (Lake Orta) went flawlessly. All guests as well as we enjoyed it incredibly. The band played for 4 hours with 15 minute interruptions. Everything with the breaks for the speeches and games worked excellently. Also, the band prepared the microphone and speakers for the ceremony and also played songs on the Iphone (our speaker wanted it that way). Could not recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Trio enough, they were absolutely fantastic from the moment I sent my initial enquiry email. Raphael was so responsive and helpful with whatever question I asked, and he also helped me out a great deal with some of the legal admin I needed to do, which was so so appreciated. He really went above and beyond.
As for the performance, well it was just incredible. They are all such talented players and had such a wide range of music they could play. It really made a difference as well to see the smiles on all their faces during their performance, they seemed to genuinely enjoy playing for us. We only had a wedding of 20 people, and this size of band really worked so well. Also really appreciated the band staying on an extra 1.5 hours despite them having long ways to travel afterwards. The best band in all of Italy!!
The Blue Moon Jazz Quartet was absolutely wonderful during our destination wedding in Amalfi. From the ceremony processional to the cocktail hour to the reception, we received countless comments from our guests on how great the band was! Raphael and the band made the booking process seamless from start to finish. We were blown away that they were willing to learn (and execute flawlessly) 3 songs for our first dance, father-daughter dance, and mother-son dance. It made our wedding day extra special and I cannot wait for our video to return to be able to relive those moments, thanks to the Blue Moon Jazz Quartet. I cannot say enough good things about Blue Moon Trio/ quartet. Our wedding would not have been nearly as amazing and memorable without the music stylings of this amazing group. We planned our Venetian wedding from the US and Raphael was so easy and lovely to work with. Everything was handled from the set list to a playlist for dinner and breaks. I highly recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Band. We booked them during the pandemic and had to move our date – Raphael was so accommodating and understanding which made it very easy. Blue Moon Jazz Trio performed at my wedding at Villa Miani in Rome for the ceremony and for cocktail hour. They were professional and did an incredible job. I had guests complimenting them all day as they liked them so much. They had a comprehensive list of songs that they sent me that they could play during the ceremony, but they also stated that they could learn anything if I wanted something different. I can’t thank them enough, they were absolutely perfect during my wedding and cocktail hour.
I am delighted to recommend the Blue Moon Jazz trio – I booked my wedding from the UK and I don’t speak Italian – but Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz trio couldnt have been more helpful. We had to change arrangements due to the pandemic and again they were brilliant.
On the day they sorted everything -playing our music for the ceremony exactly as asked, the band were brilliant – so many guests commented on the style and quality of their playing and the singer had a beautiful voice, they also then provided the disco for later – all the music was seemlessly handled and exactly as we wanted. My only regret was that I didnt spend enough time dancing to them as I was off doing photos etc!

We were delighted with Raphael and the Blue Moon Jazz trio who provided a wonderful soundtrack for our wedding reception at the Hotel Kolbe in Rome less than two weeks ago. The band played during the aperitivo and then again after dinner when they were joined by their fantastic singer. We loved their sound and wished they could have played longer. As one of my dearest friends said, whose brother is a jazz musician, when the band was playing it was more like being at a concert than “only” listening to background music. Raphael was always very prompt in all his replies and as kind and considerate as possible, while the musicians as a whole, including the singer, impressed us all with the quality of their sound. All our guests remarked on how wonderful the band was, including our younger guests who greatly enjoyed dancing away at jazz pieces they would not normally listen to, as well as the jazz buffs amongst us of which there were many. We had them play at our wedding all day on 02/06/2022 and they blew us and our guests away, for both jazz and pop repertoires. In the run up they made everything so easy, really responsive and so easy to work with, Raphael learnt a song for us without question or hesitation and played some beautiful music at our ceremony, we really could not have asked for more from the band as a whole.
We made the excellent decision to include the singer who has an amazing voice and sang perfectly in English and Italian. The rest of the band were just as good, not a note out of place and played some amazing jazz standards, as well as a pop set that had everybody up and dancing straight away and kept them there for the rest of the night.
Thank you so much to all of Blue Moon, I’ve said it a thousand times already and it’s still not enough. They made the whole day so special for all of us and anybody who’s thinking about booking them should just get them booked immediately ❤️

I always wanted a jazz band for my wedding and I truly thought it would be more like background music that not many people would pay attention too – however, Blue Moon were prominent in the best possible way. It was charming, romantic, fun and set the scene better than I could have ever imagined. I will never forget the sun setting to my right through the tuscan trees and then seeing the band to my left playing so elegantly in the sunset. It really was a dream come true.

We were so thrilled to have a live band for our wedding at Il Borro. We saw the great reviews for Blue Moon but we and our guests were completely blown away by their repertoire and talent! They even learned our first dance songs, which were admittedly a little obscure. They are such kind people and were flexible with changing the location of their set up from outside on the terrace to inside in the library due to weather. You will love having this band at your wedding and you will always remember their energy, talent and kindness!
My husband and I recently got married in Ostuni at Masseria Il Frantoio. When we began looking for music for the reception, jazz was on the top of our list. Blue Moon Jazz Trio came highly recommended by our wedding planner and after hearing from her that they were able to keep a small intimate wedding dancing all night, I was sold. I love to dance and I was worried by having a smaller wedding we would miss out on that. Not the case at all! They learned the few pieces we wanted played for our ceremony and we gave them some suggestions for the reception, but left the rest up to them. They did not disappoint! We danced all night- even when it started to rain, they moved under an overhang so that they could continue the party! I highly recommend the Blue Moon Jazz Trio for your wedding or event, I can’t say enough great things about them!!
The Blue Moon Jazz Trio was incredible. We reached out to them one year in advance and they were completely professional and reliable and fun the entire way through. They joined us at a private villa in Tuscany, just south of Florence. We were initially nervous booking a band overseas without meeting them first but they made us feel comfortable right away via email. I found the Trio from mainly reading reviews on numerous sites. We had our wedding at the Belmond Hotel Caruso in Ravello and requested Raphael and his team play during our cocktail hour and meal. Blue Moon Jazz Trio played our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner at our recent wedding celebration in Tuscany. They were AMAZING! All of our guests raved about how well they played and how nice and professional they were the entire time. Raphael and the two Paolos were fabulous at my destination birthday party in Venice. They played anything and everything our 30 guests wanted to dance to from dixieland jazz to Abba to the most current dance crazes. Their music absolutely made the party!! They even played through some breaks to keep the party going. They’re very nice guys and it was a pleasure dealing with them – and their rates were quite reasonable.

The Blue Moon Jazz Quartet provided a wonderful soundtrack to our wedding celebration in Tuscany. My husband & I recently married in Rome …. We had the most beautiful ceremony in the Campidoglio & then on to an amazing wedding reception in the Kolbe Hotel !!!! But what made our reception was the music !!! The atmosphere these guys created was outstanding … they played straight from their hearts & our family & friends adored them as we did !!! They gave us refined with fun , laughter & love …. take a bow guys , you made our wedding sparkle !!!! We never wanted them to stop playing !!!
