We booked two people from this Italian band and were very happy with it!
We booked two people from this Italian band and were very happy with it! They played Italian classics that all our guests – even though no one was Italian – knew. They played at the end of dinner and during the dessert buffet. It was a very energetic performance and got all our guests on their feet, dancing and starting the party. We would definitely recommend booking this band for a wedding or other event.

Since we are Dutch, we weren’t used to Italian weddings…
The Muffin band is phenomenal. Since we are Dutch, we weren’t used to Italian weddings. We did not know that there is usually music and dancing between the courses of the diner. Although every guest was Dutch and did not know this as well, the Muffin band played everyone from their seats up to the dancefloor! We had the best evening of our lives. Everyone congratulated us with how good the evening was. This is all because the music from the band.

Wow doesn’t even begin to cover it…
We got married in Borgo di Tragliata in October of this year and we had The Gloves as our wedding band. Wow doesn’t even begin to cover it, weeks later and people are still raving about the amazing band we had! Not only were they great musicians but they were such nice people and really great craic, I was so nervous to do a first dance and almost wasn’t going to when Leo suggested one and made me feel so at ease with it and so many said it was the best first dance they’d seen!
The dancefloor was CONSTANTLY full with hit after hit, the energy was electric and the crowd interaction was second to none!
Can’t recommend more!
Andrea and the band are fantastic!

When Is the Best Time to Book a Wedding Band in Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy?
To secure the best talent, it’s advisable to book your wedding band in Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy 8 to 12 months ahead of your event, especially for weddings taking place between May and September. This high-demand season fills up quickly, particularly on weekends and holidays.

How Long Do Wedding Bands Typically Play in Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy?
Wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol generally offer multiple live music sets throughout your event. These often include 2–3 sessions of 45–60 minutes each, strategically placed during key moments such as the aperitivo, dinner, and dancing portions of the reception.
Many bands also fill the gaps between sets with curated background or DJ-style music to maintain the ambiance. If your wedding includes a ceremony, some bands offer complete packages covering every musical moment from “I do” to the last dance — all tailored to suit your timeline and preferences.
What Happens Between Live Sets and After the Band Finishes Playing?
Between sets, most wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy play a professionally curated playlist through their PA system — keeping the vibe consistent and avoiding awkward silences. This is often called “DJ-style music” and is usually included in the band’s standard offering.
Once the live sets are complete, some bands offer an optional DJ set or extended playlist service, which is perfect for couples who want the celebration to continue late into the night without booking a separate DJ.
Can I Choose the Background Music Played During the Band’s Breaks?
Definitely! Most wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol are happy to accommodate your preferred background music between sets. Whether you’d like elegant jazz during dinner, mellow acoustic tunes, or high-energy tracks to keep the dance floor busy, your input is welcome.
You can share a custom playlist (via Spotify or USB) or simply describe the style you want. Many bands are also happy to curate a playlist for you based on your taste — just make sure to discuss this well in advance so it fits seamlessly with the rest of the entertainment.
What Kind of Songs Will the Band Perform at My Wedding?
Wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy come with diverse repertoires covering a wide range of genres — from timeless classics and love ballads to modern pop hits, funk, soul, jazz, and even traditional Italian favorites. You’ll typically receive a song list during the booking process to preview their style and flexibility.
The final setlist is usually customized to match the flow of your wedding and your guests’ preferences. Bands with experience know how to read the room and adapt in real time, making sure the music keeps the energy just right throughout the celebration.
Can the Band Perform Our First Dance Song Live?
Yes, most wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol are more than willing to learn and perform your first dance song live, even if it’s not already part of their setlist. This adds a highly personal and emotional touch to your special moment.
Simply let the band know your chosen song well ahead of the big day — ideally at least a few weeks in advance — so they have time to rehearse and perfect the performance. If the song poses technical challenges or doesn’t suit the band’s style, they may offer alternatives or suggest playing the original track instead.
Can I Provide a List of Songs for the Band to Play?
Absolutely. Most bands in Trentino-South Tyrol welcome song suggestions and love personalizing their setlist based on your musical preferences. Whether it’s a handful of must-play tracks or a full list of your favorite tunes, your input helps the band create a memorable and tailored experience.
If your requested songs are already part of their repertoire, they’ll likely be happy to include them. For songs they don’t yet know, some bands will learn one or two new tracks with advance notice, or play them via a recorded playlist during breaks.
Can I Share My Music Preferences or Genres I Like?
Yes, and it’s highly encouraged. Sharing your favorite genres, specific songs, or even music you want to avoid helps the band shape the soundtrack of your day around your unique taste. Whether you love Motown, modern indie, Italian classics, or a mix of styles, giving this input early ensures the music feels authentic to your story.
You can send the band a playlist or just have a chat during the planning phase. Many couples even send “do not play” lists to avoid awkward surprises — all part of creating a smooth and stress-free vibe.
When Will the Wedding Band Arrive at the Venue in Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy?
Professional wedding bands typically arrive at your venue in Trentino-South Tyrol about 2 to 3 hours before their scheduled performance. This window allows time to set up, run soundchecks, and coordinate any final details with your planner or the venue.
Every band is different, and arrival times may vary based on the number of musicians, the complexity of the equipment, and the venue’s layout. If early access is limited or the venue has tight timing, be sure to coordinate with the band in advance to avoid any delays.
Can the Band Arrive Earlier If Needed?
Yes. If your wedding timeline or venue regulations require it, most wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol can arrange an earlier arrival — often for an additional fee. This is especially helpful at historic venues or rural locations where setup may take longer or must be done well before guests arrive.
Just inform the band ahead of time if you anticipate this need. They’ll usually be happy to accommodate and adjust their schedule to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
What Time Do Wedding Bands Usually Finish in Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy?
Most bands wrap up their final set between 11:00 PM and midnight, depending on the venue’s rules, your wedding schedule, and the package selected. Italy’s venues often have curfews or noise ordinances, especially in historic or residential areas, so it’s wise to check these details early.
Some bands offer the option to extend their performance or switch to a DJ-style playlist afterward — allowing the celebration to continue without interruption.
Can the Wedding Band in Trentino-South Tyrol Play Overtime?
Yes, many wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol are happy to extend their performance time, as long as it’s agreed upon in advance or arranged on the day of the event. This is commonly referred to as “overtime” and typically comes with an additional hourly fee.
Keep in mind that any extension must comply with your venue’s noise restrictions and local regulations. Some venues have strict curfews — especially in residential zones or historical sites — which could limit how late live music can continue. In such cases, the band may be able to switch to a lower-volume DJ-style playlist instead.
Can We Use the Band’s Equipment After Their Performance?
In most cases, yes — many bands in Trentino-South Tyrol allow couples to use their PA system after the live music has ended, especially for a DIY playlist or post-reception party. This can be a cost-effective solution if you want to keep the energy high without hiring an additional DJ.
It’s important to discuss this with the band in advance, as some may include this option in their package, while others might charge a small fee depending on supervision or usage time. Also, be sure to verify with your venue that extended equipment use is permitted.
Do Wedding Bands Need a Stage?
Not necessarily. Most wedding bands are comfortable performing at ground level and can adapt to a wide range of venues — from intimate gardens to grand villas. However, if your venue offers a stage or raised platform, it can enhance the overall experience for both the performers and your guests.
A stage improves visibility and acoustics, especially for larger bands or evening events. While not required, it’s a nice touch if your space allows for it.
How Much Space Does a Wedding Band Need for Setup?
The space required depends on the size of the band. A solo artist or acoustic duo might only need a small area of about 2×2 meters, while a 5- or 6-piece band with full instruments typically requires a space of around 4×6 meters (13×20 feet).
For larger ensembles with horn sections or dancers, a more generous setup area — around 5×8 meters — is recommended. When in doubt, ask the band for their technical rider to ensure the layout of your venue supports their needs.
Can I or a Guest Perform with the Wedding Band?
Yes, many wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol are open to letting couples or guests join in for a special performance. Just be sure to arrange it in advance so the band can plan accordingly — including rehearsals, lyrics, or extra equipment if needed. Some bands may even welcome spontaneous participation if the timing feels right and it fits the flow of the event.
Is It Necessary to Hire a DJ Alongside the Live Band?
Not necessarily. Many wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol offer DJ-style music between and after their sets, covering the entire celebration from ceremony to late-night dancing. This is often enough to keep the energy high without needing to hire a separate DJ.
That said, if you want continuous music without breaks or a more club-style vibe later in the evening, hiring a professional wedding DJ in Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy can be a great complement. DJs provide seamless transitions, take requests on the fly, and help maintain momentum even after the band has finished playing.
Can the DJ and Band Use the Same Sound System?
In many cases, yes. Wedding bands and DJs in Trentino-South Tyrol often share the same PA system and audio setup, reducing the need for duplicate equipment and streamlining logistics. This can be especially helpful in venues with limited space or strict load-in schedules.
To ensure compatibility, it’s important that both parties communicate in advance. Some DJs prefer their own gear or require specific technical inputs, so confirming the details ahead of time avoids technical issues on the day of your wedding.
What Should We Provide for the Band?
While most bands bring their own instruments, microphones, and sound gear, there are a few essentials that couples or planners should provide. These typically include:
- Access to power: A stable electricity source near the performance area is crucial.
- Cover and flat space: A sheltered spot free from rain or direct sun is ideal — especially for outdoor weddings.
- Refreshments: Non-alcoholic drinks and a warm meal (if the band is staying several hours) are customary and often required in the contract.
Some remote venues may also require overnight accommodation or early arrival arrangements, depending on logistics.
Will the Musicians in the Videos Be the Ones Performing at My Wedding?
Often, but not always. Many professional wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol work with a roster of trusted musicians, allowing them to cover multiple events during peak season without compromising quality.
Core members like lead singers are usually consistent, but supporting musicians may vary. All performers are experienced, rehearsed, and held to the same standard. If you have a preference for a specific musician featured in a video, it’s best to ask in advance — some bands offer guarantees for an additional fee or in premium packages.
What Do Wedding Band Members Typically Wear?
Bands in Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy typically dress to match the tone and elegance of your wedding. Formalwear like suits or coordinated black outfits is standard. For themed or casual weddings, attire can often be customized upon request — such as vintage looks, white linen for beach weddings, or boho styles for countryside celebrations.
If you have specific dress code preferences, be sure to communicate them early during the booking process so the band can plan accordingly and align with your wedding’s aesthetic.
Does the Wedding Band Need Reserved Parking?
Yes, it’s highly recommended to arrange dedicated parking for the band’s vehicles, ideally close to the performance area. Wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol usually travel with vans or cars loaded with instruments, sound gear, and lighting equipment — making convenient unloading essential.
Inform your venue or planner ahead of time to ensure space is reserved. In some city centers or historic areas, permits may be required. Proper parking access helps avoid delays and ensures a smooth setup before your guests arrive.
Can Wedding Bands Perform Outdoors?
Absolutely. Many bands in Trentino-South Tyrol love performing in open-air settings like gardens, terraces, vineyards, or coastal locations. Outdoor weddings can create magical atmospheres — but a few key elements must be in place.
The band will need access to stable electricity, shelter from direct sun or rain (such as a tent or pergola), and a flat performance area. Instruments and electronics are sensitive to moisture and heat, so even in good weather, shade is essential. With the right setup, outdoor performances can be stunning and unforgettable.
Is a Contract Required to Hire a Wedding Band?
Yes — and it’s strongly advised. A clear, written agreement protects both you and the band by outlining key terms: date, time, location, payment schedule, technical needs, performance duration, and cancellation policies.
Can the Band Perform During the Ceremony or Cocktail Hour?
Yes, many wedding bands in Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy offer add-ons for ceremonies and the aperitivo (cocktail hour). Ceremony performances are typically acoustic — think soft piano, strings, or guitar accompanying your walk down the aisle. For the aperitivo, live jazz or lounge-style sets create an elegant, welcoming atmosphere.
Just let the band know in advance which parts of the day you’d like them to cover.
Can the Band Provide Microphones for Speeches?
Most bands are happy to provide microphones and basic sound support for speeches or announcements during your wedding in Trentino-South Tyrol. Since they’re already equipped with a professional PA system, they can usually offer a wireless or wired mic — plus a technician or band member to manage volume and clarity.
This saves you from renting additional AV equipment. If this service is important, make sure to confirm availability and whether it’s included in your chosen package.
Do I Need to Pay the SIAE Music License Fee for My Wedding?
Yes, if you’re planning to have live or recorded music at your wedding in Trentino-South Tyrol, Italy, a SIAE license is usually required. This is a legal music licensing fee that ensures compliance with copyright laws — and it applies even to private events like weddings.
The process is straightforward and can often be handled by your wedding planner or venue. For a step-by-step explanation, see our complete guide:
