We booked two people from this Italian band and were very happy with it!
We booked two people from this Italian band and were very happy with it! They played Italian classics that all our guests – even though no one was Italian – knew. They played at the end of dinner and during the dessert buffet. It was a very energetic performance and got all our guests on their feet, dancing and starting the party. We would definitely recommend booking this band for a wedding or other event.

Stop searching, stop thinking…and book them!
Stop searching, stop thinking…and book them!
Easily the BEST decision we made regarding our recent wedding. David & Luca are the perfect professionals. From the first time we contacted them to when they hugged us goodbye after rocking our wedding we could not find any fault. Not one!
Reliable, immensely talented and most importantly, relaxed. These guys owned the stage from the second they set foot on it. They invited guests to sing along, played a huge array of hits and kept everyone glued to their every move and even asked some guests to join them on stage for a song or two.
Flawless….
Wow doesn’t even begin to cover it…
We got married in Borgo di Tragliata in October of this year and we had The Gloves as our wedding band. Wow doesn’t even begin to cover it, weeks later and people are still raving about the amazing band we had! Not only were they great musicians but they were such nice people and really great craic, I was so nervous to do a first dance and almost wasn’t going to when Leo suggested one and made me feel so at ease with it and so many said it was the best first dance they’d seen!
The dancefloor was CONSTANTLY full with hit after hit, the energy was electric and the crowd interaction was second to none!
Can’t recommend more!

FAQ – Booking a Live Band in Malnate, Italy
Planning a destination wedding involves countless decisions, especially regarding music. Below you’ll find a collection of the most common questions about hiring live wedding bands in Malnate, Italy, with helpful answers based on real experiences.
When Should I Reserve a Live Band in Malnate, Italy?
To ensure availability and secure the top live bands in Malnate, Italy, we recommend booking at least 9 to 12 months in advance. This is particularly important during the high season (spring and summer), when demand is highest. Planning early gives you more options and time to plan everything from setlists to technical arrangements.
However, if you’re planning your wedding on shorter notice, don’t worry — many bands still have open dates, especially on weekdays or during the off-season. Take a look at our listings or reach out to bands directly on WeddingMusicBandItaly.com to explore your options.
Is It Possible to Watch the Band Perform Before Booking?
Most bands in Malnate, Italy perform exclusively at private events, so live previews aren’t usually feasible. That said, many offer professional videos from past weddings, giving you a realistic preview of their sound, vibe, and stage presence.
Still, some cover bands in Malnate do appear at public events, and you can ask them directly if any gigs are open to the public.
How Long Will the Band Perform on My Wedding Day?
Live wedding bands in Malnate usually play for a total of 2–3 hours, split into multiple sets. A typical format includes two or three 45–60-minute sets, spaced out throughout the evening. This setup allows music to complement different moments, from the aperitif to the final dance.
Bands can tailor their performance to match your timeline — for example, starting with an acoustic session and closing with upbeat party music.
What Happens During the Breaks Between Sets?
During set breaks, most bands play curated playlists through their own PA system to keep the energy flowing. You can request a certain style or even provide your own playlist.
After the last live set, bands often continue background or dance music for around 30 minutes. If you’d like to extend the party, consider a DJ add-on or continued music service.
Can I Decide What Music Is Played During Breaks?
Of course! Many bands in Malnate, Italy are happy to play a playlist you provide or create one based on your favorite genres. This helps create a consistent ambiance throughout your event.
Whether you’re imagining mellow tunes during dinner or something more upbeat after dessert, even a jazz band can adapt breaks to your musical style.
Will the Band Learn a Custom Song for My First Dance?
Yes, most bands in Malnate, Italy will learn your first dance song if notified in advance. Give them enough time to rehearse — ideally a few weeks or more. Some may charge a small fee if the song is outside their usual style, but many include one custom request in the booking.
Can I Submit a List of Must-Play Songs?
Yes! Most bands welcome input and encourage couples to share song preferences. You can provide a list of must-plays and songs to avoid. Some even offer medleys or personalized arrangements to match your vision.
When Will the Band Arrive at the Venue?
Bands generally arrive 1.5 to 2.5 hours before showtime. This gives them time for soundcheck, setup, and lighting (if included). Arrival times vary depending on your venue and the complexity of the setup.
Can I Request an Earlier Setup Time?
Yes, earlier setups are often available on request. This is common when bands perform during multiple parts of the day or if venue access is limited. Additional charges may apply, so it’s best to confirm details early.
When Does the Band Typically Finish Playing?
Most live bands finish between 11:00 PM and midnight, depending on your venue’s regulations. If you’re planning a longer celebration, you can often extend the entertainment with a DJ or add-on service.
Can the Band Extend Their Performance on the Day?
Many bands in Malnate can extend their sets — either pre-arranged or last-minute, if they’re available. Extra time usually involves a supplementary fee, and venue restrictions (especially noise laws) must be considered.
Can I Use the Band’s Sound Equipment After Their Set?
Usually yes, especially if agreed upon ahead of time. Some bands allow limited post-performance use of their sound system, with or without a small added cost. You can use this setup to play a playlist or connect a DJ, depending on the band’s policy.
Is a Stage Required for the Performance?
No, a stage isn’t mandatory. Bands can perform on any flat surface. That said, a stage can enhance the experience, especially for larger events or dance-heavy segments of the evening.
How Much Space Should I Allocate If I Provide a Stage?
Space needs vary based on the number of musicians and instruments:
– A trio needs about 3×2 meters.
– A 5- or 6-piece band typically needs around 4×3 meters.
– Larger groups may need 5×4 meters or more.
Also leave room for equipment, speakers, and cables.
Can We or Our Guests Join the Band on Stage?
Yes! Guest performances are often welcome. If you or someone special wants to sing or play along, just coordinate with the band in advance to make it smooth and memorable.
Should I Also Hire a DJ for My Wedding?
Not necessarily, but having both a DJ and a band offers flexibility. While many bands provide break music or DJ-style sets, a dedicated wedding DJ in Malnate, Italy keeps the momentum going before and after the live show with more variety and nonstop flow.
Can the Band and DJ Use the Same Equipment?
Yes, most of the time. Many bands in Malnate have gear that supports both live and DJ sets. Confirm ahead of time with both parties to ensure compatibility and smooth transitions.
What Do I Need to Provide for the Band?
Bands typically bring their own instruments and basic gear, but you’ll need to offer:
– A flat, covered performance area.
– Access to power outlets.
– Meals and soft drinks (if they’re on-site for several hours).
– A space to rest and store belongings.
Will the Musicians in the Promo Video Be at My Wedding?
Not always. Bands often work with a pool of musicians. While the lineup may vary, the sound and performance quality remain consistent thanks to regular rehearsals and high standards.

What Do Wedding Bands Wear?
Bands typically dress elegantly to match the occasion — from suits and dresses to coordinated, casual-chic looks. They’re also open to outfit suggestions or themes to blend with your event’s aesthetic.
Do I Need to Provide Parking for the Band?
Yes, ideally. Bands need parking for vans or cars carrying their equipment. Having convenient access helps with setup and takedown — especially at remote or historic venues where logistics may be trickier.
Are Outdoor Performances Possible?
Absolutely. Bands in Malnate often play at outdoor weddings and are used to adapting to terraces, gardens, and open-air spaces. Just make sure there’s a stable surface, shade, and protection in case of bad weather.
Is a Contract Required When Hiring a Live Band?
Yes. A written agreement is standard and ensures clarity on dates, fees, cancellation policies, and any custom requests. It protects both you and the musicians and sets clear expectations for the day.
What Is SIAE and Do I Have to Pay It?
SIAE (Società Italiana degli Autori ed Editori) collects royalties for music played publicly. If you’re planning a wedding in Malnate, Italy, a license is required for both live and recorded music.
